About Insert Knife Tenon Cutter Head

The Insert Knife Tenon cutter is suitable for single Tenoner and Double-end Tenoner that process Rectangular Tenon, Elliptic Tenon and Round Tenon etc.

The Tenon Length of cutting is adjustable, between 7 mm - 40mm.

All Tenon Cutterheads are machined by accurate CNC and high tensile steel. The quality is reliable.

LR Tool’ design the cutters well angles and chip-grooves that help the efficiency of production and prevent workpieces tear-out and wood dust sticking in cutter when cutter is cutting the workpieces.

Comparing with brazed cutter, replaceable Insert design is economical. A brazed Tenon Cutter needs replacing whole cutter when knives running out all length of blade. But, Insert Tenon Cutter just replace inexpensive square inserts. All inserts have 4 side can be use. and all inserts are made by tungsten carbide that is extremely durable, over 10 times working time than high speed steel’s working time. Due to the insert of high hardness, the cutters can process hard wood, MDF, plywood etc.

Insert Knife

Depending on workpiece’s material, LR Tool provide 2 kinds of material insert knife. First is KCR08 for normal hardwood. Next is the SMG02, suitable for extremely hard or man‐made material like plywood or MDF.
